R ~ .9.3 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT APPROXIrJATELY 54 ACRES OF LAND LYING IN SECTION 23, TO~~SHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the Owners of Record of the land hereinafter described, there being no electors re- siding thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, said land is not witnin the corporate limits of any munici- pality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the Owners and the propos'ed developer of the land hereinafter described and the Villa::;e of Mount Prospect have heretofore executed an Annexation Agreement pursuant to Section 11-15.1 of the Illinois Muni- cipal Code (II, Rev. Stat. Cn. 24, Sec. 11-15.1) which Agreement recites the terms and conditions of said annexation; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that the said land and territory be annexed to the Village; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOAP~ OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows~ to wit: Lot 4 in Linnemanis Division of the South 3/4 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 and the West 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian and the South 477,72 feet of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Sec- tion 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian (except that part of Lot 4 and the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 23 aforesaid described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Northeast 1/4, thence North along the East line of said Northeast 1/4 to a point 500.0 feet North of the center line of Algonquin Road as per Document No. 11195787; thence West parallel with the center line of said Algon- quin Road:, 270.0 feet; thence South parallel wi th the East line of said Northeast 1/4, 250.0 feet; thence West parallel with the center line of said Algonquin Road 30.0 feet; thence South parallel with the East line of said Northeast 1/4 to the South line of said Northeast 1/4; thence East along said South line to point of be- ginning) ; ALSO All that part of Algonquin Road lying South of the South line of Lot 4 in Linneman's Division aforesaid and lying North of the South line of Algonquin Road aforesaid in Section 23 aforesaid (excepting therefrom the East 300.0 feet thereof); an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County/ Illinois. -"'~""""'''' .-;....... /"""- .
