ROAD 1:J.JD NORTH OF ALGONOUIN ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF JI.[)Ut\]T PROSPECT.

I'Iount Prospect ~ lJni ty Ventures ~ Tnc. ~ and La Sallo National Bank, as
Trustee under Trusts Nos. 31535 &"'1d 40666, heretofore enterod into a
certain Annexation Agreement dated J'.l PI( i L ,-, 1971 wi t11 respect to
the property hereinafter described; and
WHEHEAS, prior to t:~e execution of said !mnexation l\.greement ~ the
Board of l\ppeals of the Village of Vaunt Prospect hold a special ffiGeting on
January 26~ 1971, at the hour of 8:00 p.n. in the T~ount Prospect Village
Hall pursuant to notice published in the !'~ount Prospect Herald on Jmmary 8,
1971; and
1fJHEPH,S ~ the Board of Appeals of th.G Village of Tilount Prospect heard
testimony presented under Case no. 71-4/" pertaining to variations from its
sign regulations contained in Article 3 of Chapter 9 of Mount Prosnoct
L~licipal Code; and
1NHEHEi\S ~ the Board of /\,upeals of 'tl~G Village of I "aunt Prospect has
filed a report with the President and Board of Trustees recommending the
allol;,r&""'1CG of suC:h. variations for t:1G reasons stated therein; cmd

\lJHEREl\.s~ pursuant to Section 6 of tho aforesaid i\nnexation Agreement
the Village has agreed that it will adopt an ordinance pursuant to Section 9.307
of t.ho fihunt Prospect j'fmicipal Code granting certain variations from the
sign regulations "'!tuth respect to the subject property; and

public hearings required by Im<l to be held in connection with the approval
of SUd1 Alllexation Agreement a'l1d of the variations hereinafter authorized.;

Prospect have reviewed the said proposed variations and have detemined

OF TIlli VILLAGE OF rr.OUNT prDSPECT, COOK C01~1J'lTY ~ ILLINOIS ~ as follows:
SECTION ONE: Pursunnt to Section 9.307 of the Mount Prospect Hunicipal
Code ~ the regulations cmd restrictions imposed by Sections 9.303 (E) (3)
al1d (E) (5) of the [.'bunt Prospoct T.Iunicipal Code be and they are varied so
as to pennit the ollmer or ot\1D.ers of the said property to retain any and
all signs located Liorooil on thG date of this ordinance nnd so as to permit
the said mmer or owners to construct on the subject property not marc th.C!l1
three double-face signs contain:L.'1.g not more t,lJ.al1 DiVO hundred (200) square
feet in addition to new and additional signs that may be permitted on the
subject property by virtue of t:".o provisio:ns of Article 3 in Chapter 9 of
the Haunt Prospect r1unicipal Code.
SECTION TWO: tine variation granted in SECTION ONE above be and
it is :hereby expressly conditioned upon the removal of the said three
double-face signs not later than the date that development of the subject
property is completed.
SECTIOI-T THPEE: This Ordinance shall D0 in full force Clnd effect
