The proposed floor plans indicate access to the existing home will be provided. Village staff believes the Petitioner's variation request does not meet the standards and is therefore not supportive of the request. There are alternative options, including reducing the size of the screened porch to meet setback requirements or placing the screened porch on another area of the property, that would not encroach into the required setbacks and need a variation. There are numerous corner lots in the Village that have similar existing conditions as the Subject Property, all of which must comply with current Village regulations. Staff received several letters, emails, and phone calls in support of the variation request. Alternatives 1. To recommend denial of the following motion: 1.
