Information
The Petitioner, David Kim of MedTec Healthcare & Private Duty, LLC, is seeking a conditional use to allow an adult daycare center at
618 E. Golf Road (the "Subject Property"). The Subject Property has an existing church and is located on the north side of Golf Road
between William Street and Louis Street. The Petitioner is proposing to operate an adult daycare facility out of the existing church
during non -church hours. The daycare would operate Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm. Transportation
service is provided for the seniors. The program will serve an average of forty (40) to fifty (50) seniors and have seven (7) to nine (9)
staff members present each day.
The conditional use request complies with the conditional use standards and staff is supportive of the request. Other department
reviewed the Petitioner's proposal and did not object to the use, subject to the fire and safety concerns being addressed before
occupancy is granted. I

Staff Recommendation
Staff finds that the standards for a conditional use have been met, and that granting the conditional use request is in the best interest
the Village. Based on these findings, staff recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission make a motion to adopt staffs
findings as the findings of the Planning and Zoning Commission and recommend approval of the conditional use request. I
