ORDINANCE NUMBER 2343
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2313 AND MAP 26S OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
did heretofore conduct a public hearing under Case No. 72-4P
on January 21, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., pursuant to a
request for a zoning classification change in conjunction
with the planned unit development, which requested change
was for a zoning amendment from R-4 (Residential Development
District) to B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) for
certain parcels of property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in
the manner provided by law and published in the December 29,
1971, edition of a newspaper of general circulation within the
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended that the zoning
changes be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on February 10, 1972,
and did review the matter presented under said Case No. 72-4P
and have determined that the zoning changes would in no way be
detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have deemed that the best interests of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the
Plan Commission recommendation under Case No. 72-4P regarding
the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance No. 2213, insofar as it had re-
zoned the property hereinafter described to the R-4 classifica-
tion, and Map 26S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same are hereby further
amended in order to reclassify from R-4 (Residential Develop-
ment District) to B-3 (Business- Retail and Service District)
that part of Kenroy's Huntington Estates legally described as
follows:
That part of Lot 1 in Kenroy's Huntington, being a subdivision
of part of the East 1/2 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range
11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, bounded and described
as follows: Commencing at the most Northwesterly corner of said
lot; thence South 0 degrees 02 minutes 15 seconds West 450.165
feet along the West line thereof, to the point of intersection
with a line drawn 450.00 feet (measured perpendicularly) South
of and parallel with the North line of said lot, said point
being the place of beginning of the following described parcel
of land; thence North 88 degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds East
198.466 feet along said parallel line; thence South 0 degrees
01 minutes 40 seconds West, 126.005 feet; thence South 88
degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds West, 198.487 feet along a line
parallel to the North line of said Lot 1 to the point of inter-
section with the West line of said lot; thence North 0 degrees
02 minutes 15 seconds East, 126.006 feet along said West line
to the herein above designated place of beginning, in Cook
County, Illinois.

Ipursuant to the terms of paragraph 7. of an Annexation Agree-
Iment between La Salle National Bank, as Trustee and Owner, and
Ithe Village of Mount Prospect, which Annexation Agreement was
entered into and executed December 2, 1969; the Owner acknow-
ledges that it has read the foregoing ordinance and consents
to the application of same to the subject property affected
by the said foregoing ordinance as well as its application to
the entire development as contemplated under the aforementioned
IAnnexation Agreement.
