fu~ ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO., 2278 AND PROVIDING AN AMENDED
SITE PLAN FOR THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTIES COMMONLY
KNOWN AS HUNTINGTON ESTATES
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect did here-
tofore conduct public hearings under Case No. 72-3P and Case No. 72-4P
on January 21, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., pursuant to requests for
a zoning classification change as well as c]lunges to Exhibit II of an
Annexation Agreement attached as Exhibit B to Ordinance No. 2278, passed
and approved Decemher 22, 1970 -- which requests directly affect the
following described land and territory:
Case No. 72-3P
That part of Lot 1 in Kenroy's Huntington, being a Subdivision
of Part of the East 1/2 of Section 14, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, recorded Octo-
ber 28, 1970, per Document No. 21302332 described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South
o degrees 04 minutes 30 seconds West 369.467 feet along the
East line of said Lot 1, being also the West line of Elmhurst
Road as dedicated ~er Document No. 20869620 to a point; thence
Southwosterly 2~.321 feet along the arc of u circle of 23.00
feet radius convex to the Southeast, whose chord bears South
53 degrees 33 minutes 12 seconds West to a point of tangency;
thence North 89 degrees 55 minutes 30 seconds West 32,668 feet

degrees 18 minutes 21.5 seconds West'to a point of tangency;
thence South 85 degrees 11 minutes 31 seconds West 190.601
feet to a point of curvature; thence Southwesterly 29.080 feet
along the arc of a circle of 1208.316 feet radius convex to
the Northwest, whose chord bears South 84 degrees 30 mil1J,1tes
08 seconds West to a point; thence North 1 degree 02 minutes
08 seconds West 453.005 feet to the point of intersection
with the North line of said Lot 1; thence North 88 degrees
57 minutes 52 seconds East 435.00 feet along said North line
to the herein designated point of beginning, all in Cook
County, Illinois;
Case 72-4P
That part of Lot 1 in Kenroy's Huntington, being a subdivision
of part of the East 1/2 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range
11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, bounded and described
as follows: Commencing at the most Northwesterly corner of said
lot; thence South 0 degrees 02 minutes 15 seconds West, 450.165
feet along the West line thereof, to the point of intersection
with a line drawn 450.00 feet (measured perpendicularly) South
of and parallel with the North line of said lot, said point
being the place of beginning of the following described parcel
of land; thence North 88 degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds East
198.466 feet along said parallel line; thence South 0 degrees
01 minutes 40 seconds West, 126.005 feet; thence South 88
degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds West, 198.487 feet along a line
parallel to the North line of said Lot 1 to the point of inter-
section with the West line of said lot; thence North 0 degrees
02 minutes 15 seconds East, 126.006 feet along said West line
to the herein above designated place of beginning, in Cook
County, Illinois;
and,

WHEREAS, notices of the aforesaid public hearings were made in the
manner provided by law and published in the December 29, 1971 edition
of a newspaper of general circulation within the Village of Mount
Prospect; and '
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Commi ttee of the Board of Trustees of 'the Village
of Mount Prospect did meet on February Ip, 1972, and did review the
subject matters involved with Case Nos. 72-3P and 72-4P; and
WHEREAS, the said Judiciary Committee has recommended to the President
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the best inter-
ests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoptior
of the petitioner's requests under Case No. 72-3P and Case No. 72-4P:

WllEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have passed and approved Ordinance No. o?~~~reZoning the
property which was the subject of Case No. 72-4P; an
WfIEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect believe that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect
will be attained by the adoption of the remaining requests under Case
No. 72-3P and Case No. 72-4P -- regarding the subject properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Exhibit II of an Annexation Agreement between La Salle
National Bank, as Trustee and Owner, and the Village of Mount Prospect,
which Annexation Agreement is attached as Exhibit B to Ordinance No. 2273
under SECTION TWO of said Ordinance No. 2278, passed and approved Decem-
ber 22, 1970, be and the same is hereby amended by substituting
an entirely new Exhibit B therefor; which substituted Exhibit B is attac~p."

SECTION TWO: That -- pursuant to the rezoning of 25,000 square feet of
R-4 (Residential Development District) to B-3 (Business ~ Retail and
Service Dis trict) under Ordinance No. ;(37'3, passed and approved fliP'? Rc ~
R) , 1972 -- the total number of dwelling units
allowable under said planned unit development Ordinance No. 2278 be and
the same are hereby reduced from 1455 to 1442 as reflected upon said
Exhibit ~ attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION TIIREE: That the building construction and architectural design
of the three (3) buildings shown as building Nos. 36-37, 38-39, and 40
shall conform to the renderings attached hereto and made a part hereof
as Exhibits i and ii.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full forCe and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided
by law.

Pursuant to the terms of paragraph 7. of an Annexation Agreement betwcr'"

La Salle National Bank, as Trustee and Owner, and the Village of Mount
Prospect, which Annexation Agreement was entered into and executed
December 2, 1969; the Owner acknowledges that it has read the foregoing
ordinance and consents to the application of same to the subject property
affected by the said foregoing ordinance as well as its application to
the entire development as contemplated under the aforementioned Annexa-
tion Agreement.
