ORDINANCE NUMBER 2351
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on February 18, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. con-
ducted a public hearing under Case No. 72-7P on a request for
a zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residence
District) to B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) for
certain parcels of property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid hearing was made in the man-
ner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on April 13, 1972, and
did review Case No. 72-7P; and
WHEREAS, the said Judiciary Committee has recommended to the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
the rezoning of the subject property herein to B-3 (Business -
Retail and Service District); and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of
the said Judiciary Committee recommendation on Case No. 72-7P
regarding the subject property;
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
I TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

SECTION ONE: That Map 16N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by reclassifying from R-X (Single Family Residence District) to
B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) the following
described property:
PARCELS IIAn -- The East 70.0 feet of that part of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township
42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
lying Northeast of Rand Road, except the North 500.0 feet
thereof, in Cook County, Illinois.
UBIt -- That part lying North of Rand Road of the West 66.0
feet (except the North 660 feet thereof) of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian.
IICn -- The West 66.0 feet of the South 160.0 feet of the
North 660 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4
of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian.

ship 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and
of no force and effect whatsoever until after its passage,
approval, publication, and such time as an accurate plat
resubdividing the subject parcel described in SECTION ONE
above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
I Illinois, a copy of which plat of subdivision shall be at-
I tached hereto and made a part hereof.
