ORDINANCE NO. 2389
AN ORDINANCE REZONING MAP 37-S OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on April 16, 1971, conducted a public hearing under Case No. 7l-3P on a
request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single .Family Resi-
dence District) to R-l (Single Family Residence District) of certain pro-
perty hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was Imade in the manner
'provided by law; and
.,WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended to the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the zoning changes re-
quested therein be granted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect have determined th,at the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's recom-
mendations under Case No. 7l-3P regarding the subject properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 37-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended
by reclassifying from R-X (Single Family Residence District) to R-l (Single
Family Residence District) the following described land and territory:
Lots 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49 and all that part O~ Briarwood
Drive West lying Easterly of a straight line drawn from the
North West corner of Lot 49 to the South West corner or Lot
42 and lying Westerly of a straight line cirawn from the North
East corner of Lot 45 to the South East corner of Lot 44 all
in Lake Briarwoo~ Unit No.2, a subdivision of part of the
West 1/2 of the East 1/2 of Section 22, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of tile Thir~ Princi?al Neridian, also the
Southerly 90.0 feet, as measure~ bt right angles to the South
line thereof, of Lot 9, the Sout~~r:y 90.0 ieet, as measured
at right angles to the South l:;'ne thereof, of Lot 10, all of
Lots 11, 12, l7, 18, the Southerly 70.0 feet, as measured at
right angles to the South :ine thereof, of Lot 19, and the
Southerly 70.0 feet as measured at rigi',;: angles to the Sou~h
iine thereof of Lot 20 and all that ?art of Lynn Court 1Y1ng
Southerly of' the Wescerly extension of the North line of the
South 70.0 feet as measured at right an~:es to. the South line
thereo~, of Lot'19, a~l in Lake Driarwoo~, a sub~ivision of
part of the West 1/2 or the East 1/2 of Section 22, Town~hip
41 ~orth, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, all
in Cook County, Illinois.
sEdtroN TWO: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force
and effect whatsoever until after its passage, approval, publication, and
such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the subject parcel described
in SECTION ONE above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois, a copy of which plat of subdivision shall be attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
