AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF CERTAIN PERSONAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, it has been determined that it is no longer necessary, useful, or in
the best interest of the Village of Mount Prospect to retain ownership of the following equipment:
One (1) Convergence 195 Edit Controller with Cables
One (1) Taxan KX-12 Monochrome Status Monitor
One (1) Sony VO-5850 U-Matic Edit Recorder
One Sony VO-5800 U-Matic Player/Recorder
One Cresspoint Latch 6109 Special Effects Generator
presently used by the Communications Division of the Village; and
WHEREAS, in the spirit of cooperation between governmental entities, the corporate authorities of
the Village have determined that the residents of the Village and School District 57 would be served
by donating the equipment being the subject of this Ordinance to School District 57.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect find that the best
interests of the Village will be served by disposing of the following equipment;
, which are no longer useful or necessary to the Village and that said equipment, by donating said
equipment to School District 57:
One (1) Convergence 195 Edit Controller with Cables
One (1) Taxan KX-12 Monochrome Status Monitor
One (1) Sony VO-5850 U-Matic Edit Recorder
One Sony VO~5800 U-Matic Player/Recorder
One Crosspoint Latch 6109 Special Effects Generator
That this equipment is no longer useful or necessary to the Village and the best interests of the
Village will be served by disposing of said property in the manner specified herein. The Village
Board of the Village of Mount Prospect has determined that the community will continue receiving
value because of this donation which value exceeds the potential monetary value of this equipment.
SECTION TWO.'. That the Village Manager of the Village of Mount Prospect be and is hereby
authorized to transfer the title of the equipment listed hereinabove to Mount Prospect School District
57. The Village of Mount Prospect offers no warranty, express or implied, on the condition or
serviceability of this equipment.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
