AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC ALLEY
EAST OF WATERMAN AVENUE AND NORTH OF NORTHWEST HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have met and
have considered the sale of a portion of the public alley east of Waterman Avenue
to the abutting property owners; and

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the sale thereof is in the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the following portion of the pUblic alley lying east of
Waterman Avenue and north of Northwest Highway shall,be and the said alley
is hereby vacated, to-wit:
That part of the Public Alley lying Northeasterly of and adjoining
Lots 1 and 2 in H. Roy Barry Company's Northwest Heights, being
a Subdivision of all that land lying North of the Chicago and North-
western Railroad in the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 33, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Princi-
pal Meridian, which lies Southeasterly of the Northerly extension of
the West line of said Lot 1 and Northwesterly of the Northeasterly ex-
tension of the Southeasterly line of Lot 2 aforesaid, all in Cook County,
Illinois.

SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby
directed to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory so vacated.

after its passage, approval, and publication in ,the manner provided by law.
