ORDINANCE NO. 2537
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 38-S OF
THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect did heretofore conduct public hearings under Case No.
l7-Z-74 at the hour of 8:00 pm on May 13, 1974, and July 16,
1974, pursuant to a request for zoning classification changes
in conjunction with a planned unit development, which requested
changes were from R-X (Single Family Residence District) to R-4
(Residential Development District) of certain property hereinafter
described: and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearings were made in
the manner provided by law and published in the April 24, 1974,
and June 28, 1974, editions of the newspaper of general circulatio
within the Village of Mount Prospect:and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the
zoning changes be granted: and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Villil.ge of
Mount Prospect have determined hhat the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the
Zoning Board of Appeals recommendation under Case No. l7-Z-74
regarding the subject property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 38-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and are hereby further amended
by reclassifying from R-X (Single Family Residence District)
to R-4 (Residential Development District) that land legally
described as follows:
The North 5 acres of the South 20 acres, excepting
therefrom that part described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East boundary of said
above described Tract at a point 121.89 feet South
of the Noeth boundary of said tract: thence West 772
feet on a line parallel with the N~th boundary of
said above tract: thence South 42.32 feet: thence
East 772 feet in a line parallel with the North
boundary of said first described tract: thence North
to the point of beginning: (Except the West 210 feet
thereof) of the Southeast Quarter (1/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (1/4) of Section 22, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian
Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 38-S contained in SECTION ONE of
Ordinance No. 2410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall
be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification of
the property herein contained in SECTION ONE above.

SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the recording of an approved plat resub-
dividing the subject property into one (l) lot of record: and
after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner
provided by law.
