AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 47-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount
Prospect did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 38-Z-74,
on October 24, 1974, on a request for a zoning classification
change from R-4 (Residential Development) District to B-3
(Business-Retail and Service) District of certain property herein
after described: and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and
published in the manner provided by law: and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of
I the following Ordinance regarding the subject property:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 47-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Mount Prospect as amended be and is hereby further
amended by reclassifying from ~-4(Residential Development)
District to B-3 (Business-Retail and Service) District the
following described property:
Part of Lot One of the Colony being a subdivision of
part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of section
23, Township 41 North, range 11 East of the third Prin-
cipal meridian in Cook County, Illinois described as
follows starting at the intersection of the North line
of the South 5~0 feet of said Southeast 1/4 with a line
which is 50p feet West of the parallel with the East
line of said section 23, Thence Westerly along said
North line A distance of 717.43 feet to a point of be-
ginning thence turning an angle of 90.-00'-00" to the
right of the previously described course a distance of
770.0 feet: Thence turning en angle of 90.-00'-00" to
the right of the previously described course a distance
of 165-00 feet, thence turning an angle of 90.-00'-0011
to the right of the previously described course A distance
of 256~0 feet: thence turning an angle of 90.-00'-0011
the left of the previously described course a distance
of 558.20 feet; thence turning an angle of 90.-38'-3011 to
the right of the previously described course a distance
of 324.228 feet: thence turning an angle of 07.-07'-2911
to the right of the previously described course a dis-
tance of 161.25 feet: thence turning an angle of 45.-35'-'"
42" to the right of the previously described course a
distance of 50.27: thence turning an angle of 36.-38'-19"
to the right of the previously aescribed course a distance
of 657.43 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION TWO: That Map 47-S contained in SECTION ONE of
Ordinance No. 2410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall
be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification
of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE above.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
in the manner provided by law.
