ORDINANCE NO. 2 570
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
. AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BUSSE ROAD AND LONNQUIST
BOULEVARD AND THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MEYER ROAD
AND LONNQUIST BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owners of record of land
hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, all electors residing within the said property to be annexed have
affixed their signatures indicating their consent; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land
and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows:
Lots 1 and 21 in Busse Country Estates, being a subdivision of the West
25 acres of that part of the West Half (!) of the Northwest Quarter (!) of
Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, lying North of Seeger's Road, in Cook County, Illinois.
ALSO: The West 50.00 feet of the North 165.98 feet of the Northwest
Quarter (t) of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
ALSO: The West 50.0'0 feet of the South 50.00 feet of the Southwest
Quarter (n of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
ALSO: That part of Lonnquist Boulevard of the Northwest Quarter (D
of Section 14 and of the Southwest Quarter (D of Section 11, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of
the East line of Busse Road and lying West of a line drawn from a point
in .the South line of Lonnquist Boulevard, said point being 71. 02 feet West
of the Northeast corner of Lot 22 in Busse Country Estates, to a point in
the North line of Lonnquist Boulevard, said point being 69.94 feet West of
the Southeast corner of Lot 48 in Golf View Estates Unit No.3, all in Cook
County, Illinois.
ALSO: That part of Meyer Avenue in the Northwest Quarter (!) of Sec-
tion 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri-
dian described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 21
in Busse Country Estates; thence East along the extension of the South
line of said Lot 21, 66.01 feet to a point in the West line of Lot 22 in said
Busse Country Estates; thence North along said West line of Lot 22, 66.84
feet to a point of curve; thence .Northeasterly along a curved line convex
to Northwesterly, having a raQius of 50.00 feet an arc distance of 77.70
feet to a point of tangency, said point being 71.02 feet West of the North-
east Corner of said Lot 22; thence West along the South line of Lonnquist
Boulevard a distance of 105.17 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 21;
thence South 116.00 feet along the East line of said Lot 21 to the point of
beginning, in Cook County, Illinois,
an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof by this reference be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 23-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410
passed and approved March 20, 1973, be amended to reflect the extention of the
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect to include the property herein-
above described and hereby annexed.
SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is here y
directed to file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
I certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory
annexed. .
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and a ex
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
