.AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 7-S OF THE
MJUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 32-Z-75, on July 31, 1975, at
the hour of 8: 00 p.m., in the Village Hall pursuant to proper legal notice,
on a request for a zoning classification change fran B-3 (Business -
Retail and Service) District to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service) District
of certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
recOIIIDlend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect that the zoning change requested under Case No. 32-Z-75 be
granted; and
l~REAS, the Building COIIIDlittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect did meet on August 13, 1975 and did consider the recommendation
of the Zoning Board of Appeals under Case No. 32-Z-75; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee have recommended that the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur in the
reconnnendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals to allow the zoning
classification change from B-3 District to B-4 District; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have detennined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the
subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT .AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MJUNf PROSPECT, CDJK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 7-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying
from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service) District to B-4 (Business - Retail
and Service) District the following described property:
Lot 1 (except the West 20 feet thereof) in Raymond R. Chmelik' s
Subdivision, being a re-subdivision of the North SO feet of the
right-of-way of the Public Alley (now vacated) together with
Lots A, B, C and D in Laudennilk's Subdivision of Lots 3, 4, 5,
6 and 7 in Block 7 in Mount Prospect, being a Subdivision in
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois; together with the
East 44 feet of the West 64 feet of Lots 1 and 2 of Block 7 in
Mount Prospect, being a Subdivision in the West Half of
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 1WO: That Map 7-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,
passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to confonn
wi th the reclassification of the subj ect property herein contained in
SECTION ONE above.

SECfION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner
provided by law.
