I, WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
! conduct Public Hearings tmder Case No. l4-Z-75 on May 22, 1975, and on
I! July 24, 1975, on a request for a zoning classification change from
. R-X (Single Family Residential District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and
Service District) of certain property hereinafter described; and
ORDINANCE NO. 2586
AN ORDINANCE REZONING MAP 10-S OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECI' ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, notices of the aforesaid Public Hearings were made and published
in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of MOunt Prospect did
recommend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect that the zoning change requested in Case No. l4-Z-75 be granted;
and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
I Mount Prospect did meet on September 9, 1975, and did consider the
II recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals under Case No. l4-Z-75; and

WHEREAS, the Building Committee has recommended that the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur in the recommenda-
tions of the Zoning Board of Appeals to allow the rezoning as present in
Case No. l4-Z-75; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Motmt Prospect
will be attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the
subject property;
NOW, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
1HE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, OOOK COUNfY, ILLINOIS:
,I SECI'ION ONE: That Map 10-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
'Iii.'.' Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from
'II R-X (Single Family Residential District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and
I, Service District) the following described property:

That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 41
North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner
of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 7, thence East along
the North line of said Section 7, 208.14 feet to the center
line intersection of Central Road and Rand Road for the place
of beginning; thence continuing East along the North line of
said Section 7, 467.12 feet; thence Southerly at an angle
of 90 degrees 31 feet measured counter clockwise fram the
last described course, 302.96 feet to the center line of
Rand Road; thence Northwesterly along the center line of said Rand
Road 558.55 feet to the place of beginning, excepting there-
from the Right-of-Way of Public Roads known as Rand Road and
Central Road, all in Cook County, Illinois.
SECI'ION TWO: That Map 10-S contained in SECI'ION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,
passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform
with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in
SECTION ONE above.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force
and effect whatsoever until after its passage, approval, and publication,
_ and such time as an acOlrate plat resubdividing the subj ect parcel
described in SECTION ONE above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of
Cook COWlty, Illinois, a copy of 'which plat of subdivision shall be
attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
