ORDINANCE NO. 2594
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 23-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct
a public hearing under Case No. 29-Z-75 and Case No. 30-Z-75, on July 24, 1975, on
a request for certain zoning classification changes, namely: Under Case No. 29-Z-75
from R-X (Single Family Residential) District to B-3 (Business-Reail and Service)
District, and under Case No. 30-Z-75 from R-X (Single Family Residential) District
to B-4 (Business-Retail and Service) District of certain . properties hereinafter des-
cribed; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom-
mend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the
respective zoning changes requested in Case No. 29-Z-75 and Case No. 30-Z-75 be
granted; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on Augu-
st 13, 1975, and did consider the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals
under said Case No. 29-Z-75 and Case No. 30-Z-75; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee has recommended that the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur in the recommendations of the Zonin
Board of Appeals to allow the rezoning as presented in Case No. 29-Z-75 and Case No
30-Z-75; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by
the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 23-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Sin-
Igle Family Residential) District to B-3 (Business-Retail and Service) District the fol-
lowing described property:
Lot 9 (except the West 150 feet thereof as measured along the
North and South line thereof) and all of Lot 10 in Busse Country
Estates being a subdivision of the West 25 acres of that part of
the West Half (D of the Northwest Quarter CD of Section 14,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meri-
dian lying North of Seegers Road, in Cook County, Illinois.
ECTION TWO: That Map 23-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Pros-
ect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Sin-

lowing described property:
The West 150 feet as measured along the North and South line of
Lot 9 in Busse Country Estates being a subdivision of the West
25 acres of that part of the West Half (D of the Northwest Quar-
ter CD of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, lying North of Seegers Road, in Cook
County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That Map 23-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,
passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform with
the reclassification of the subject properties herein contained in SECTION ONE and
SECTION TWO above.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effec
whatsoever until after its passage, approval, publication, and such time as an accur
ate plat resubdividing the subject parcels described in SECTION ONE and SECTION
TWO above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a copy
of which plat of subdivision shall be attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
