IfvHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did hold
!public Hearings on Case No. 4-SU-76, on February 26,1976, on March 25, 1976,
!~d on April 22, 1976, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. , in the Public Safety Building,
!pursuant to proper legal notice; and

I~EREAs, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect heard
il~estimony presented under Case No. 4-SU-76 pertaining to a request for certain
l~pecial uses pursuant to the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance to permit certain
Ifses upon the property hereinafter described; and

I !wHEREAS , the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
i.l,prospect did meet on May 13, 1976, and did consider the recommendations of the
!izoning Board of Appeals under Case No. 4-SU-76; and

IIWHEREAS, the Building Committee have recommended that the President and Board
Ilof Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur in the recommendations of the
I!Zoning Board of Appeals to allow the special use as presented in Case No. 4-SU-76;

IWHEREAS , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
. I reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best
llof the Village of Mount Prospect;

II NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
!IOF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
ilsECTION ONE: That the special use authorized and granted in SECTION TWO here-
!Iinbelow is conditioned upon and shall be valid and effective only so long as:

II A. That handrails be installed upon the rear stairway of the
Ii existing building on the subject property;

ORDINANCE NO. 2634
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 830 NORTH
RIVER ROAD
B. That the stairway to the second floor of the existing building
on the subject property be widened to comply with the require-
ments of the Mount Prospect Building Code;
C. That an additional exit be provided from the second floor of the
existing building on the subject property;
D. That no other buildings or accessory buildings as shown on
Exhibit I (Site Plan), attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof, shall be established and/or constructed on the subject
property; and

qSECTION TWO: That, pursuant to the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance and in
Ilaccord with the terms and conditions of this Ordinance, the following special use

I!SECTION THREE: That the special use authorized to be established in SECTION
Iii hereinabove shall be valid and effective upon the following property, hereinabove
'I and hereinafter referred to as "subject property" , legally described as:

II The South 75 feet of the East 300 feet lying West of the West line of
Ii River Road as dedicated for widening as per Document No. 12177789,
II of Lot Three (3) in Owner's Subdivision of that part of the Southeast
II Quarter (D of Section 25, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the
'I Third Principal Meridian, lying West of the center of West River Road,
II and South of the North forty (40) acres thereof, also all of the South-
.11'1 east Quarter (1) of the Southwest Quarter CD of said Section 25, ex-

!I cept the right-of-way of the Soo Railroad described as follows: Begin-
II ning at the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter (D of the South-

That the said special use granted in SECTION TWO hereinbelow
shall not run with the land, but shall be limited to that period
of time wherein the subject property is owned, occupied, and
operated by Sisters of the Holy Spirit.
The operation of a not-for-profit store for the retail sale, barter,
and/or exchange of used goods other than automobile supplies,
accessories, and/or automobiles.
