lnance disconnecting the subject land and territory from the Village of Arlington Heighjts
!~erebY consenting to such disconnection of said land and territory; and I

IrvHEREAS, a written petition under oath, signed by the aforesaid owner of record of I
l~l of the subject land and territory has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village
!!I~f Mount Prospect on July 13, 1976, requesting that said land and territory be annexer

IlWHEREAS, Section 7-1-24 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes (1975) provid1s
!lthe procedures for the disconnection of such land and territory from one municipality I
i!and the annexation of such land and territory to a contiguous municipality, which prct
Ilcedure has been fpllowed by both the Village of Arlington Heights and the Village of I
liMount Prospect to date with respect to the disconnection and annexation of the sub- '

ORDINANCE NO. 2662
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN
AS "SAINT CECEUA'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH",
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
THE INTERSECTION OF GOLF AND MEIER ROADS
Lots 2, 3, and 6 in Meier Brothers Subdivision, being a subdivision of
parts of Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, tog.ether with the
Northerly Half (!) of the right-of-way of Golf Road abutting the aforesaid
Lots 3 and 6, which part of the said right-of-way is legally described as:
~: The East line of said Lot 6 is due North for the following courses.
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence North 54 degrees,
14 minutes. thirty seconds West on the Southwesterly line of said Lot, be-
ing also the Northeasterly line of said Golf Road, a distance of 57.16 feet
to a point of tangency with a curved line; thence Northwesterly on said
curve, convex to the Northeast. and having a radius of 1687.28 feet. an
arc distance of 806.14 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence
due South on the West line of said Lot extended South, a distance of 50.55
feet to the center line of said Golf Road. being 50 feet Southwesterly of

and concentric with the aforesaid curved Northeasterly line; thence South-
easterly on said center line, being a curved line, convex to the Northeast ·
and having a radius of 1637.28 feet. an arc distance of 774.95 feet; thence
South 54 decrees, 14 minutes, thirty seconds East tangent to said curve, a
distance of 93.17 feet to the said East line of said Lot 6 extended South;
thence due North. a distance of 61. 61 feet to the point of beginning. To-
gether with a part of the right-of-way of Lawrence Lane abutting the afore-
said Lot 2. which part of the said right-of-way is legally described as:

!lpassed and approved March 20, 1973, be amended to reflect the extension of the cor-
;!porate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect to include the land and territory
!labove described and hereby annexed.

ijSECTION THREE: That, within ninety (90) days after the passage of this Ordinance
Hthe Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to file in the
~Iof the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County. Ulinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance,
jitogether with an accurate map of the land and territory annexed. and thereupon the
Ijsubject land and territory shall be deemed disconnected from the Village of Arlington
i!Heights.
