PROSPECT COOK COUNTI, STATE OF ILLINOIS BE IT ORDAINED BY TIffi PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TIffi VILLAGE OF M)UNf PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That there shall be a regular election of officers in the Village of Mount Prospect on the 15th day of April, 1975. SECTION TWO: That at such election there shall be elected the following officers: Three (3) Village Trustees Two (2) Village Trustees Four year tenn Two year tenn (unexpired tenn) Three (3) Library Directors Six year tenn SECTION THREE: That at least thirty (30) days before the election, the Village Clerk shall cause to be published in the Mount Prospect Herald and the Northwest Suburban Topics, newspapers published in the Village of Mount Prospect, Notices of Elections, which shall be substantially as follows: NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that on April 15, 1975, at the precincts listed hereinbelow and located in the Village of Mount Prospect in the County of Cook, a regular election will be held for the following officers: Four year tenn Three (3) Village Trustees Two (2) Village Trustees Three (3) Library Directors Two year tenn (unexpired tenn) Six year tenn which election will be open at 6: 00 A.M., and continued open until 6: 00 P.M. of that day. The precincts and polling places for such election shall 00:_ PRECINCT 1: Polling Place: Village Hall 112 E. Northwest Highway Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect south of Central Road and north of Northwest Highway, and bounded on the west by the Village limits. PRECINCT 2: Polling Place: Lions Park School 300 East Council Trail Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Northwest Highway, west of the eastern boundary of the Village, north of Weller Creek, and east of Emerson Street; and that part of Mount Prospect lying west of Emerson Street, north of Weller Creek, east of Highway 83, and south of Lincoln Street. t,' ~ Sunset Park School 601 West Lonnquist Blvd. Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect west of the eastern boundary of the said Village, south of Weller Creek and north of Golf Road east of Elmhurst Avenue; and that portion of Mount Prospect lying west of Elmhurst Avenue; south of Lonnquist Blvd., east of WeGo Trail and north of Golf Road. PRECINCT 3: Polling Place: Forest View School 1901 Estates Drive Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect west of Busse Road, south of Lincoln Street and north of Golf Road and bounded on the west by the Village limits; and all that part of Mount Prospect lying east of Busse Road, south of Lonnquist Blvd. west of WeGo Trail, and north of Golf Road, bounded on the west by the Village limits. PRECINCT 4: Polling Place: Mount Prospect Country Club West Shabonee Trail Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Lincoln Street, west of Highway 83, north of Lonnquist Blvd. and east of Busse Road. PRECINCT 5: Polling Place: PRECINCT 6: Polling Place: Westbrook School 105 South Busse Road Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Central Road, west of WeGo Trail, north of Lincoln Street and east of Meier Road. Lincoln School 700 West Lincoln Street Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Central Road and Prospect Avenue, west of Emerson Street, north of Lincoln Street and east of WeGo Trail. William Busse School 101 North Owen Street Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying north of Central Road, east of Pine Street, south of Isabella Street, and west of Rand Road. PRECINCT 9: Polling Place: 2 PRECINCT 10: Polling Place: Fairview School Fairview and Gregory Streets Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of MOunt Prospect lying south of Kensington Road, west of Pine Street, north of Isabella Street, and bounded on the west by the Village limits. PRECINCT 11: Polling Place: Euclid Avenue School 1211 Wheeling Road Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying north of Kensington Road, west of Wolf Road, south of Euclid Avenue and east of Wheeling Road. PRECINCT 12: Polling Place: Robert Frost School 1308 Cypress Drive Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes all that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Golf Road, : west of Linneman Road, east of Busse Road, and bounded on the south by the Village limits. PRECINCT 13: Polling Place: St. Emily School 1400 East Central Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Kensington ') Road, west of Wolf Road, north of Gregory Street (extended), and east of!l Sycamore Lane (extended); and that part of Mount Prospect lying west of " Wolf Road, north of Central Road, east of Rand Road, and south of Gregory Street (extended). PRECINCT 14: Polling Place: Gregory School 400 East Gregory Street Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying west of Rand Road, nort~ of Isabella Street, east of Pine Street, and south of Kensington Road; j and that part of Mount Prospect lying west of Brentwood Lane (extended), [i north of Gregory Street (extended), east of Rand Road, and south of . Kensington Road. PRECINCT 15: Polling Place Fire Station # 3 2000 East Kensington Road Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying west of River Road, north of Kensington Road (Foundry Road), east of Wolf Road, and south of Euclid Avenue. PRECINCT 16: Polling Place: Indian Grove School 1340 North Burning Bush Lane Mount Prospect, Illinois il " which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying west of River Road, north of Euclid Avenue, south of Camp McDonald Road, and east of Westgate Road! (extended). ' 3 PRECINCT 17: Polling Place: Robert Frost School 1804 Aspen Drive Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying west of River Road, north of Camp McDonald Road, and bounded on the west and north by the Village Limits. PRECINCT 18: Polling Place: Dempster Jr. High School 420 West Dempster Street Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Golf Road, west of Elmhurst Road, east of Linneman Road, and bounded on the south by the Village limits. PRECINCT 19: Polling Place: John Jay School 1835 West Pheasant Trail Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying south of Golf Road west of Busse Road, north of Northwest Tollway, east of Meier Road' (extended), and bound on the west by the Village limits. PRECINCT 20: Polling Place: Colony Country Condominiums Office 650 West Rand Road Mount Prospect, Illinois which includes that part of Mount Prospect lying nor~h of Kensington Road, west of Illinois Route 83, and bounded on the north and west by the Village limits; and that part of Mount Prospect lying north of Kensington Road, east of Illinois Route 83 and south of Euclid Avenue and west of Wheeling Road. SECTION FOUR: That the precincts or voting districts for such election and the polling places shall be those designated in the preceding Section. SECTION FIVE: That the judges of election shall be those as shall be here- after designated by the President and Board of Trustees to serve as election officials. SECTION SIX: That the ballot to -be used at such election shall be in the fonn prescribed by statute and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of the official ballots for the election, and to cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the day of election in a newspaper of general circulation published in the Village, and to pro- vide the necessary election supplies for each voting district or precinct. SECTION SEVEN: That said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute for the conduct of a regular electi~ for Village officers. 4 SECTION EIGHT: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
