HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2663 09/21/1976 ORDINANCE NO. 2663 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 6-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT , the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did con- duct a public hearing on August 26, 1976, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. , in the Pub- lic Safety Building and did hear Case No. 46-Z-76'on a request for a zoning clas- sification change from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service) District to B-4 (Busi- ness - Retail and Service) District for a certain parcel of property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner pro- vided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom- mended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the petitioner's request under said Case No. 46-Z-76 be granted; and WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on September 9, 1976, and did review said Case No. 46-Z-76; and WHEREAS, the said Building Committee have reviewed the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and have recommended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur in the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Map 6-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Pros- pect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service) District to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service) District the following described property: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Henry J. Ehard's Subdivision of that part of the Northeast Quarter (.1) of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian lying North of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company's right-of-way, in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That Map 6-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410. passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE above. /"'''P.~. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever until after its passage, approval, publication, and such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the said parcel described in SECTION ONE hereinabove is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illi- nois; a copy of which plat of resubdivision shall be attached hereto and here- by made a part hereof.
