ORDINANCE NO. 2665
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 47-S OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
HEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
onduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 33-Z-76, on the 24th day of June,
976, on a request for a zoning classification change from R- X (Single Family
esidence) District to B-3 (Business-Retail and Service) District of certain pro-
erty hereinafter described; and
HEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in
e manner provided by law; and
HEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom-
ended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that
e petitioner's request under said Case No. 33-Z-76 be granted; and
HEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
ave determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be
tained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject pro-
erty;
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
RUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
ECTION ONE: That Map 47-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
rospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from
-X (Single Family Residence) District to B-3 (Business-Retail and Service) Dis-
ict the following described property:

Part of the Southeast Quarter (D of Section 23, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the North line of the Southeast
Quarter (i) of the Southeast Quarter CD of Section 23, Township
41 North, Range 11, East and the East line of the Southeast Quarter
(1) of Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East, which is a
point on the center line of Elmhurst Road; thence proceeding South
along said center line 280 feet to a point; thence proceeding West on
a line perpendicular to the center line of Elmhurst Road 50 feet to the
point of beginning of the herein described parcel; thence (1) continu-
ing West on this line 415 feet to a point; thence (2) proceeding South
on a line parallel to the center line of Elmhurst Road 200 feet to a
point; thence (3) proceeding East on a line parallel to the North line
of the Southeast Quarter cn of the Southeast Quarter (1) of Section
23, Township 41 North, Range 11 East 415 feet to a point; thence (4)
proceeding north on a line parallel to the center line of Elmhurst Road
200 feet to the point of beginning of the herein described parcel, in
Cook County, Illinois.

CTION TWO: That Map 47-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410,
ssed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform

CTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force
d effect whatsoever until after its passage, approval, publication, and such
e as an accurate plat resubdividing the said parcel described in SECTION
