AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1201 FEEHANVILLE DRIVE
WHEREAS, TCI Communications (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner) has filed a petition
for a Variation with respect to property located at 1201 Feehanville Drive (hereinafter
referred to as Subject Property), legally described as follows:
Lot 304 in Kensington Center, Resubdivision VI of Lots 304 and 306 in
Kensington Center, Phase Three A, being a subdivision and resubdivision in
part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded
November 25, 1981, as Document #26070519, in Cook County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a Variation from Section 14.305 of the Zoning Code to permit
a total of eight (8) ground mounted satellite dishes on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, a public headng was held on the request for a Variation, being the subject of
ZBA 18-96, before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the
24th day October, 1996, pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the
Mount Prospect Herald on the 9th day of October, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations
to the President and Board of Trustees in support of the request being the subject of ZBA
18-96; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
given consideration to the request herein and have determined that granting the Variation
requested would be in the best interest of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated as findings of fact by
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
do hereby grant a Variation to the Subject Property to permit a total of eight (8) ground
mounted satellite dishes, six dishes exist, one to be installed within the next year and the
final satellite dish to be installed within five years from the passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION THREE: Except for the variation granted herein, all other applicable Village of
Mount Prospect Ordinances and regulations shall remain in full force and effect as to the
Subject Property.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its

passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
