AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAPFIC CODE

BE IT ORDAINED RY THE PH,ESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF' NIOUNT PH,OSPECT t COOK COUNTY> ILLINOIS:
~ECT_ION 9NE: That, pursuant to the authority vested in the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect under Article vn
of the 1970 Constitution of the State of Illinois; Subsection C of Section
18.1322 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect of 1957, 3.5
amended) be and the same is hereby further amended in its entirety; so
that h,ereafter the said Subsection C of Section 18. 1322 shall be and read
as follows:
!f C. In the Maple Street parking lot the following regulations
shall control:
1. It shall be unlawful fer any person to park a motor vehicle
in the parking lot unless a current Mount Prospect vehicle
sticker is displayed in the front windshield of the vehicle
so parked therein--so that parking in the said Maple Street
lot shall be limited to l\Tount Prospect l'esidents only.
2. The parking meters located therein are hereby established
as having' a parking' time limit of twelve (12) hours; the
deposit of certain coins shall establish the allowed parking
time for such Mount Prospect residents up -to the maximum
time limit as follows,:
a. Upon the deposit of one (1) fiv'e cent (5e::) coin, a pal'ldng
limit of one-, half 0/2) hour shall be established.
b. Upon the deposit of sufficient United States coins, except
pennies, amounting to ten cents (100), a parking limit
of one (1) hour shall be established.
c. Upon the deposit of sufficient United States coins, except
pennies, amounting to twenty cents (20~), a parking
, limit of two (2) hours shall be established.
d. Upon the deposit of sufficient United States coins, except
pennies, amounting' to twenty-five cents (254:), a parking
limit of two and one-half (2 1/2) hours shall be es-
tablished.
e. Upon the deposit of sufficient United States COiDS, except
pennies. amounting to thirty cents (30e::) , a parldng
limit of three (3) hot..rs shall be estabbshed.
f. Upon the deposit of sufficient United States coins, except
pennies, amounting to forty cents (40~) , a parking limit
of four (4) hours shall be established.
g, Upon the deposit of sufficient United States coints, except
pennies> amounting to fifty cents (50~) , a parking- limit:
of hNelve (12) hours shall be established.
