ORDINANCE NO. 2747
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 500 WEST NORTlfWEST HIGHWAY
I WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet
I on the 25th day of August, 1977, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. , at the Public Sa,fety
II Boardroom, and did hear Case No. 36-V-77, pursuant to proper legal notice: and
I WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did hear
I this request to construct an addition to an existing building and provide eleven
(11) parking spaces rather than thirteen (13) required by the }/fount Prospect
Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
recommend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of J\rount Prospect
,I the approval of this request under Case No. 36-V-77; and
! '\'lHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Villagoa of II,Tount
Prospect did meet on September 14, 1977, and did review the recommendations of
the Zoning Board of Appeals in Case No. 36-V-77; and
I
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have recommended that the Board of T~ustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect concur in the recommendations of the Zoning Board of .Appeals un.der said
Case No. 36-V-77; and
ViliEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect ,

I have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best !
I interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; I

jl SECTION ONE: That the property being the subject matter of Case No. 36-V-7'7.
being legally described as follows: .
Lots 16 and 17 in Block 22 in Prospect Manor, being a subdivision
of part of the South 3/4 of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of Section 34,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal !I.'!:eridian
in Cook County, Illinois,
is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of ~.'rount Prospect
as B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) , which zoning classification
shall remain in effect subject to the variation granted herein:
That the land described above may include the construction and E;rection
of an addition to an existing building with provisions for eleven (11) of i-
street parking spaces to serve same provided said building and addition
are constructed pursuant to the plans attached hereto and hereby made
a part hereof as Exhibit A.
I SECTION TWO: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Building 8.11.d Zoning.
Code. shaH be applicable except the varia.tion noted in SECTION O:NE heretofore
I mentioned.

I SECTION THREE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of
I Mount Prospect is hereby authorized to issue a building permit for construction
I in accordance with the variation hereinabove mentioned.
III SECTION FOUR: That the variation granted by this Ordinance shall be null and
I void and of no force and effect whatsoever unless an application for a building
II permit pursuant to such variation is made and construction commenced vlithin
lone (1) year of the date this said Ordinance becomes effective.
II SECTION FIVE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
II after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
