WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct I
a public hearing on the 27th day of January, 1977, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. , at the
Public Safety Board Room, and did hear Case No. 4-V-77, pursuant to proper legal
notice; and I
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did hear
this request for a front yard variation to allow the petitioner to construct a single
family residence to within twenty feet (20') of the property line adjacent to Henry
Street on the lot legally described hereinbelow; and

II WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom- t
mend to the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros
I pect the approval of this request under Case No. 4-V-77; and
II' WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
I Prospect did meet on 10th day of February, 1977, and did review the reeommenda-
II tions of the Zoning Board of Appeals in said Case No. 4-V-77; and
II WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
II Prospect have recommended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect concur in the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals under said Case I

I' WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hav
I reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best interest
. of the Village of Mount Prospect; ~

Lot 12 in Block 9 in Hillcrest, being a subdivision of the Northeast
Quarter (1) of the Southwest Quarter CD (except the North 2 7/8 acres
thereof) of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, also the North 23.5 acres of the Southeast Quarter ~
CD of the Southwest Quarter (1) except the West 295.1 feet of the South
295.1 feet lying North of the South 543 feet of the East Half G) of the
Southwest Quarter CD of said Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois,
is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect as
R-1 (Single Family Residence) District, which zoning classification shall remain in
effect subject to the variation granted herein:

II SECTION THREE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of Mount .

ance with the variation hereinbefore mentioned. i
Ii SECTION FOUR: That the variation granted by this Ordinance shall be null and voi I
,I and of no force and effect whatsoever unless an application for a building permit pu~

suant to such variation is made and construction commenced within one (1) year of I

its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law. i

That the yard abutting the frontmost lot line of the subject property
adjacent to Henry Street be reduced to twenty feet (20') as shown
upon the survey attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof as
Exhibit I.
SECTION TWO: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Building and Zoning
Codes shall be applicable except the variation noted in SECTION ONE heretofore
mentioned.
