A. PZ-27 -05, 109 Mac Arthur Boulevard, Residence
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 109 MAC ARTHUR BOULEVARD
This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for the construction of a circular
drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended denial of the
Conditional Use permit by a vote of 1-4; the ordinance requires a super majority
vote for approval. (Deferred from August 16, 2005, requesting final deferral
to the December 20,2005 Village Board meeting.)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO GRANT A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 222 SOUTH EDWARD STREET
This ordinance grants a variation to construct an unenclosed porch and entryway
and create a sixteen foot (16') and fourteen foot (14') respectively exterior side
yard setback. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval
by a vote of 6-0. (Staff recommended deferral from December 6, 2005 to the
February 7,2006 Village Board meeting.)
C. PUBLIC HEARING
This public hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published
in the Daily Herald on December 8, 2005, is for the purpose of presenting the
2006 proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2006 and ending
December 31, 2006. .

IN LIEU OF PASSAGE OF AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE.

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 20, (ANIMALS)
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance modifies Article II, Chapter 20, "Dogs and Cats" and the
accompanying sections of Appendix A of the Village Code by deleting
annual licensing requirements.

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND APPENDIX A, ARTICLE II
"TAX IMPOSED" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance amends Section 8.1802 "Tax Imposed" of Appendix A,
to reflect the increase in the per gallon gasoline tax from $0.01 to $0.02,
effective January t 2006.

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8 (VILLAGE
GOVERNMENT MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS)
This ordinance modifies Article X, Chapter 8, "Nonresident Ambulance Fee"
and accompanying sections of Appendix A to reflect changes in the Village
of Mount Prospect's ambulance billing program to include resident ambulance
fee billing.

NEW BUSINESS
A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE MAKING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS
TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET ADOPTED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2005 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2005
This budget amendment revises the current budget amount to account
for material variations in revenues and expenditures in accordance with
the Budget Officer System.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION AND THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This annual agreement required by Court Order, authorizes the Village to
provide emergency services to those portions of unincorporated Cook County
located within the Forest River Protection District.

* A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MOUNT PROSPECT LIBRARY
EXECUTIVE DlRECTORTO PURCHASE OUT OF STATE SERVICE
CREQITS THROUGH ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND (IMRF)
The Library would reimburse the Village for any employee related expense
levied by IMRF.

* A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE
This resolution appropriates money from Motor Fuel Tax funds for the
2006 Resurfacing Program and related Material Testing.
