A motion was then made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Wier, that this resolution be adopted. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following re- sponse: Ayes: Trustees Airey, Schlaver, Viger, Wier and Wilson. Nays: None. Absent: Trustee Willer. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried and said resolution passed and approved. The Clerk then read Resolution No. 14-55 entitled: "RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF ALTERNATE BID ON CONTRAC~ NO. 3 WATb~WORKS IMPROVEMENTS 1954 AND DIRECTING OFFICERS TO EXECUTE SUPPLEHENT CONTRACTll. ~ '" A motion was then made b~ Trustee Viger, seconded by 'Ilier, that this resolution be adopted. This resolution covered request for permit to extend water main under Elrnhurts Road north of Golf Road by George D. Hardin Contracting Company. A motion was made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Schlaver, that the resolution be adopted. In the absence of Clerk Milligan, Trustee Vi[er was appointed to serve as Acting Clerk. On roll call the following Trustees answered Ifpresent": Airey, Schlaver, Viger, 11eir and Wilson. Trustee Willer was absent on roll call. ~ Trustee Willer arrived and took his place at 2:38. A motion was made by Trustee Wilson, seconded by Schlaver, that the tree trimming be continued through the month of September at the same hourly rate as previously approved.
