The President put the question, the Acting Clerk called the roll, with the fol101iing response: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared tb~ motion carried. There being no furtb~r business to come before the meet- ing, a motion was made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Wier, that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted on by acclama- tion whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the meeting regurarly adjourned. MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDE~T AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, ON TUi:;:; S DAY , ST~PTEMBER 6,1955. The meeting was called to order by President Lams, at 8: 25 P.M. and the clerk was then directed to call the roll. On roll call the following trustees answered It:FresentTl: Airey, Schlaver, :Vier, \i\,fillep, and 1Vilson. Trustee Viger ':vas ab sent on roll call. The clerk then read the minutes of the meeting held August 16, 1955. The motion was then made by Trustee Vier, seconded by Airey, that the minutes be approved as read. The Iresident put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following I'esponse:!\.yes: i\11; Nays: ':'Jone. Thereupon the Fresident declared the motion carried. The Clerk then read the minutes of the adjourned meeting held August 23, 1955. The motion was then made by Trustee ~Viller, seconded by lUrey, that the minutes be approved as corrected. The Fresident put the q1.~estion, tbe Clerk called the roll, with the follo'JlJing response: Ayes: All; Na;;Ts: None. Thereupon the Fresident declared the motion carried. Thereupon the President declared that the motion, having received the affirmative votes of 2/3 of the corporate authorities, the motion was pas2ed, and said ordinance passed and approved. A copy of our letter is enclosed for your information. It appears from the estimated construction cost that the total cost of the improvement, including en~ineering, will exceed the amount of $10,000.00 appropriated in the construction resol- ution. A motion was made by Trustee Airey, sec'mded by Schlaver, to authorize the appropriation of a sum not to &xceed :$300 to cover expenses of Chief Whittenberg to attend the convention of International Chiefs of Police, being held at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October the first through sixth, 1955. After a lengthy discussion ,oti this subject, the matter was referred to the Village Attorney for clarification. Trustee Schlaver left the meeting at this time. A motion was made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Willer, to authorize the removal of the tree in fromt of the Fire Depart- ment Annex. Brickman we are September 6, 1955 (l 52 enclosing two copies of a form of resolution which is required by the State Highway Dept. in connection with the granting of a permit to Mr. Brickman's contractor, Achille Scully and Sons, to construct 36 inch combined sewer in Rand Road to serve the above referenced subdivision. '.i'his resolution form is required to be executed by the Village before Mr. Brickman can obtain a permit for this construction from the State.
