There being no further business to come before the meeting, a

The meeting was called to order by President Lams at 8:30 P.r')
and the Clerk was then directed to call the roll.
On roll call the follo-vJing Trustees answered "presentt?: Ai~ey
Schlaver, 'vvier, ~'Jiller and Hilson. Trustee Viger was absent.
A motion 'tvas then made by Tru.stee Schlaver, seconded by Airey
that the Treasurer's Report for the period ending P,:ugust 31st, 19.56,
be approved and placed on file. The President put the ql:~es tion, the

the Treasurer's Report of the Special P.ssessxnent Fund for period end,

A motion was made by Trustee vlier, seconded b:y Willer, to
grant renewal for six months of permits for existing signs for the
following:
1. Town Development sign at 600 W. Central Road
2. OIDay Realty sign at east end of Lonnquist parkway.
3. O'Day Realty sign at east end of Hiawatha Trail.
The President put the qtlestion, the Clerk called the roll, with the
following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President
declared the motion carried.

Construction Company, as the work on this permit never started. The

to grant isslJ,ance of a permi t for a 7 foot fence to be erected along
the lot line of 317 S. Louis street, between this ,lot and business
property along Northwest Hjgh1rJay. 'The President put the question,
the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes: .All;

A motion was then made by Trustee Wier, seconded by Schlaver,
to grant issuance of permit for a sign at 601 N. Russell Street on a

Schlaver, to reconsider the question of gr~nting issuance of perrnit
for the sign at 601 N. Russell Street. The President put the
ques tion, the Clerk called the roll, wi th the following response:

in the suit covered by Case 56C-12263, Circuit Court 01' Cook .

A motion was then made by Trustee Willer, seconded by
Schlaver, that the Village .A.ttorney be authorized to engage expert
witnesses for testimony in Case 56C-12263. The President put the
question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following response:
Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the
motion carried.
A motion was then made by Trnstee Willer, seconded by

and answer to sumnons in Case 56C-12411. The President put the

Gentlemen:
At the August hearing of the Zoning Commission a
quorum was not present. The hearing was held; and according
to an opinion of the Village Attorney, a full report and a
vote can be made only after a quorum inspects the transcript.
This has been done.
Case .56-16
This case involves two lots of a three lot block on
Wille street immediately south of the Nt. Prospect Hardware store.
They have been petitioned for re-zoning from R-l to B.
Since these lots are each side of a lot recently re-
zoned to B by Court Order, the Cornmission voted unanimously to
recommend zoning these two lots to B.

Wilson, to concur in the recommendation of the Zoning Cow~ission
and that the Village Attorney be authorized to prepare an ordinance

Attached hereto is a blue print of Johnson's Subdivision plat
which was referred to our Co~ssion for study on September IO, 19.56
The plat consisting of only two lots complies wit~ our
ordinances. It has been noted that this plat bears the approval of
the i-irlington Heigh ts Plan Commission, and having discussed this
matter vJi th lYlr. Theodore Lams, the PI"esident of :y'our Board, we have
on this date approved same.
NOTE: This Subd. is one mile west of Mount Prospect limits and 1/4

and that the VillaGe Clerk be authorized to siGn these permits
