A motion made by Trustee Wilson" seconded by Willer, that Resolution No. 20-56 entitled ttA RESOLUTION VARYING THE PROVISIONS OF THE OFFICIAL PLAN FOR FRANK SERAFINE'S FIRST ADDITION AND PARKVIEW MANOR SUBDIVISION" be approved. The President put the question" the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes: All; Nay~: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried and said resolution adopted. MINUTES OF A REGULAR ~ffiETING OF WE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2, 1957 The meeting was called to order by President Lams at 8:55 P.M. and the Clerk was then directed to call the roll. On roll call the following Trustees answered uPresentll Airey, Schlaver, Viger, Wier, Willer and Wilson. Absent: None. The Trustees having previously been given copies of the minutes of the meeting held December 18th, a motion was made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Airey, that the minutes be approved as submitted and corrected. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following response:; Ayes: All; Nays: None. ~hereupon, the President declared the motion carried. A motion was made by Tnustee Willer, seconded by Viger, that the plat of Meier's Subdivision,be approved as recommended by the Plan Commission, as the $300.00 has been re- ceived from the Subdivider for the School District, and that the President and Village Clerk be authorized to sign the plat on behalf or the Village. The Presiden t put t he question, the Clerk called the roll, with the rollowing response: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon, the rresident declared the motion carried. A motion made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Schlaver, that the plat of Young's resubdivision or Lot 5 in C. A. Goelz' Prospect Gardens.be approved as recommended by the Plan Com- mission, as the $200.00 has been received from Subdivider ror January 2, 1957 the School District, and that the President and the Village Clerk be authorized to sign the plat on behalr of the Village. The rollowing comraunication was then read: December 31, 1956 The President and Members or the Board or Trustees Village of Mount Prosnect V illage Hall "- Mount Prospect, Illinois Gen tlemen : Referring to Joan Ruth's Wa:'Pella Gardens, I request that the Board take under consideration the a~endment of its ordinance with respect to the improvements payment of one (l~) percent due the Village or Mount Prospect. At the Meeting when the engineering plans were approved the President of the Board requested that I have added to the plans the water taps ~~d sewer connections as the installation or the~e services would result in a better job ir done at the time when the water main and sewer were installed. I agreed to this and ordered Consoer, Town- send and Associates to incorporate these services in their final plans. Joseph DiVito and Co., the sewer and water contractor, has charged me 32 House Services 20 Water Services, near side 12 Water SerVices, far side To tal $3200.00 1100.00 It80.OO $5 80.00 and as this work is not a public improvement and was added at the re- quest of the Board as aroresaid~ my request is that I not be required to pay $56.80 on such amounts in the Sewer and Water contract. The motion and second were then withdrawn. The rollowing letter was then read: President and Board or Trustees Village of Mount Prospect Illinois January 2, 1956 (7) Gentlemen: I wish to advise tha t the purchase of' t he Vogler-Schillo property was completed on December 28, 1956. Accordingly I enclose herewith Cer- tiricate or Title # 739717, Volwae 1483, Page 359 showing title in the Village together with a Warranty Deed properly registered together with resolution or the Corporation authorizing the sale of said property. I enclose also the 1955 tax receipt. The Certificate of Title shows an unpaid balance or $3.01 applicab~e to the 1934 taxes which, with penalties, amounts to approximately $11.00; and rurther shows that the 1952 Weller Creek annual benerits ror the year 1952 in the amount or $6.25 remain unpaid. A motion made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Wilson, to accept the water mains in Forest Avenue, as recommended by Consoer, Townsend & Associates in their letter of October 30, 1956 and as covered on project CT&A 44-20. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon, the President declared the moti on carried. A motion made by Trustee Wier, seconded by Willer, to approve applications of T8wn Development Company for three signs located on Cathy Lane between Central Road and Busse Avenue. The President put the question, the Clerk called the noll, with the following response:' Ayes: None; Nays: Trustees Airey, Schlaver, Viger, Wier, Willer, and Wilson. Thereupon, the President declared the motion defeated. i''''''" Trustee Willer then introduced Ordinance No. 533 en- titled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, ENAgTING, CODIFYING AND CONSOLI- DATING THE BUILDING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS." A mo tion was then made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Wier, that this Ordinance be passed. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll with the following responsE Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon, the President declared the motion carried. A motion made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Viger, that Sanitary District Permit No. 1956-270 be accepted and ., that the Village President be authorized to sign the permit on behalr or the Village. The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon, the President declared the motion carried. There being no rurther business to come b erore the meeting, a motion was made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Viger that the meeting be adjourned.
