Mr. Theodore A. Lams, President,

Des_r Sirs:
At a meeting held between the School Board of ~istrict
#26 and Mr~ Nicholas J. Funk, Mr. Funk offered to donate the
amount of $200.00 to said school district in lieu of
land dedication.
Since we believe that a busine ss developmen t is no t
going to place any burden on the school, any nominal amount
acceptable to the Mt. Prospect authorities would be accept-
able to the school board, to insure that there is consist-
ency in the treatment of subdividers.
Please accept our most sincere thanks for your interest
in the welfare of outlying districts, in this matter and in
several previous ones, where we ourselves were concerned"
We are aware of the fact that the former Schroeder
farm is being prepared for lillIDe subdivision, and we are
very much interested in this project since these residences
would result in a serious burden and would require the build-
ing of an additional v.Jing - whicb our scbool district is
financially unable to do at this time without the financial
assistance from the developer.
