Dear Mr. Lams:
We realize that many worthy charitable organizations
are requesting approval for collection campaigns. Man of
these are more well known than our organization yet its
purposes are equally important.
Briefly, our organization is devoted to
accumulating funds for research on the incurable
fatal disease of Leukemia and for aid to those
afflicted by the disease.
Mayor Daley of Chicago has designated October
15 as 'Leukemia Death March Day'. May we receive
consideration to conduct a similar campaign within
Mount Prospect.
Yours very truly,
