There being no further business to come
before the Board, a motion was made by Trustee
Casterline and seconded by Trustee Broad that the
meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by
acclamation whereupon the President Pro-Tem declared
the motion carried and the meeting regularly adjourne<
at 9:36 P.M.

WAS DECLARED "NO MEETING" BY PRESIDENT LAMS BECAUSE OF
THE LACK OF A QUORUM. TRUSTEES PRESENT WERE: AIREY
AND NORRIS. TRUSTEES ABSENT WERE: BROAD, CASTERLINE,
SCHLAVER AND WILLER.

MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF
THE PRESIDENT AND OOARC OF TRUSTEES
HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING,
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS ON
TUESDAY, SEP1'EMBER 17, 1957

The meeting was called to order at 8:47 P.M. by
President Lams and the Clerk was then directed to call
the roll. On roll call, the following Trustees answere<
Present: Airey, Broad, Casterline, Norris, Schlaver
and Will er. Ab sen t : None.
All Trustee having previously received copies of
the minutes of the meeting held September 3, 1957, a
motion was made by Trustee Schlaver and seconded by
Trustee Broad that the minutes be approved as submittec
The President put the question and the Clerk called
the roll, with the following response: Ayes: All,
Nays: None, whereupon the President declared the
motion carried and said minutes approved.
All Trustees having previously received copies
of the Treasurer's Report for August, 1957, a motion
was made by Trustee Airey and seconded by Trustee
Norris that the Treasurer's Report be accepted and
placed on file. The President put the question and
the Clerk called the roll, with the following response:
Ayes: All, Nays: None. Thereupon the President declare
the motion carried.
It was moved by Trustee Airey and seconded by
~rustee Broad that the list of bills incurred during
the month of August, 1957 be approved for payment and
placed on record. The President put the question
and the Clerk called the roll, with the following
response: Ayes: All, Nays: None. Thereupon the
President declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Willer and seconded
by Trustee Norris to authorize the opening of two bids
for street maintenance work using Motor Fuel Tax Funds.
The President put the question and a vote was taken by
acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motio
carried. Bids received were: (a) Skokie Valley Asphalt
