Trustee Norris suggested that arrangements Ge made
'hetween the Village President and the Village Manager
to meet with members of the Cook County Board of Comm-
issioners with respect to the widening of Central Road
to become a 4 lane road.
Village Manager Appleby informed the Board of a
public hearing to be held before the Zoning Board of
Appeals of Cook Co~mty at 7:30 P.M. on February 13,
1958 in the Mount Prospect Village Hall, Mount Prospect,
Illinois. The property involved consisted of approx-
imately 2 acres located on the southwest corner of Busse
Road a~d Central Road in Elk Grove Township to be rezoned
from F (Farming) District to B-1 (Business) District.

Norris that the Village Manager be directed to attend
the public hearing referred to above to represent the
interests of the Village of Mount Prospect. The Pres-
ident put the question and the vote was taken by acclam-
ation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

for a public hearing has been set pertaining to the
proposed increase in rates by the Northwestern Railway.
That this hearing is to be held on March 12 at 10 A.M.
at 160 N. La Salle Street, 19th Floor.
Mr. Robert Milligan commented that a recent brochure
mailed to the residents of Mt. Prospect concerning the
apportioning of taxes within the Village, was incorrect.
He also commented on the proposed new Village Business
Hours and suggested that a slot be installed in the door
of the Treasurer's Office so that citizens can pay bills
in person on Saturdays. President Lams .replied that this
suggestion had been previously considered and would be
cared for.
There being no further business to come before the
BoaFd, it was moved by Trustee Airey and seconded by
Trustee Norris that ,the meeting be adjourned. The
