ORDINANCE NO. 2829
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 35-S AND
MAP 41-S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct
a public hearing under Case No. 59-Z-78, on the 28th day of September, 1978, on
a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residence)
District to R-3 (Apartment Residence) District and R-4 (Residential Development)
District of certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom-
mended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that
the petitioner's request unde~ said Case No. 59-Z-78 be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereof
to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be
attained by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 35-8 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassifying
from R-X (Single Family Residence) District to R-3 (Apartment Residence) District
the following described property:
Pickwick Commons, except Lot 23 thereof, being a Subdivisio.n of part of
Lot 1 in Linneman's Division in the WEst half of the Southeast quarter of
Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal .......
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 35-8 and Map 41-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by re-
classifying from R':'X (Single Family Residence) District to R--4 (Residential Develop-
ment) District the following described property:
The East 522.90 feet, as measured on the North and South lines, of Lot 2
in Linneman's DivisioI) in the West hfl.lf of 'the l'l'()rthi3gf:'t quarter of Section
23, Township 41 North, Range 11; together with that part of Linneman
Road lying North of the North line of Dempster Street and lying South of
the North Line of the South 477.78 feet of said Section 14; together with
that part of Dempster Street lying East of the West line of Linneman
Road and lying West of the East line of the West half of the Southeast
quarter of Section 14 and lying West of the East line of the West half of
the Northeast quarter of Section 23; together with the West 550.00 feet,
as measured on the North and South lines, of Lot 1 in Linneman's Division
in the West half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14, all in Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.

SECTION THREE: That Map 35-8 and Map 41-S contained in SECTION ONE of
Ordinance No. 2410 t passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed
amended so as to conform with the reglassification of the subject property herein
contained in SECTION ONE and SECTION TWO above.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
