AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CERTAIN VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY COMTv1bNLY }CN'OWN AS
100 WEST NORTHWEST HIGHWAY

WHEREAS ~ the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Villag'e of Mount Prospect did
meet on the 21st day of December, 1978, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m., at the rvIount
Prospect Public Safety Building, and did hear Case No. 86-V -78. pursuant to
proper legal notice; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did hear
this request for certain variations from the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance;
and
WHEREAS s the Zoning Board of Appenis of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom-
mend to the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the ViHage of Mount
Prospect the approval of this request under Case No. 86-V-78; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval
thereof to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the
best interests of the Vill~g'e of Mount Prospect; i
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORnAIN'ED BY.THE PR?~II)ENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the property being the subject matter of Case No. 86-V-78
being legallydescribed as follows:
Vlille's Reconsolidation Plat of Lots 1 and 2 in Wille's Cons.olidation
Plat of 1.0ts 2 to 12 J both inclusive, in Block 2 in Busse and Wille's
Resubdivision in Mount Prospect, a subdivision in the West half
of Section 12, Township 41 North. Range 11, East of the 'rhird
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;
is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of l\Iount Prospect
&8 B--3 (Business-Retail and Service) District, which zoning classification shall
remain in effect subject to the variations g--ranteo her(~in:
That more than one main use but not. more than three main uses be permitted
v;ithin the existing building npon the land and territory described above,
SECTION TWO: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Building' and
Zoni;g- Codes shall be applicable except the variations noted in SECTION ONE
heretofore described.
SECTION THREE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to issue a building permit in accordance
with the variation and limitation hereinbefore mentioned.
SECTION FOUR: That the variation granted by this Ordinance Shllll be null
and void and of no force and effect \'.rhatsoever unless an application for a
building permit pursuant to such variation is made and construction commenced

within one year of the date said Ordinance becomes effective.
SECTION FIVE: Thut this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by
law.
