I ORDINANCE NO. 2864 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 26-S OF THE ZONING ORD!NANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduc a public hearing under Case No. 89-Z-78, on the 21st day of December, 1978, on a request for a zoning classification change from B-3 (Business-Retail and Service) District to B-1 (Business-Shopping Center) District of certain property hereinafter I described;' and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom- mended to the President and Boarc1 of Trustees of ft1.~ Village of Mount Prospect that the petitioner's request under said Case No. 89-Z-78 be granted; and WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereof to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the following Ordinances regarding the subject pro- perty; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: ~EC'l'ION ONE: That Map 26- S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Prospect, as amended J be and the same is hereby furthel' amended by reclassify- ing from B-3 (Business'-Retail and Service) District to B~ 1 (Business-Shopping Center) District the following described pI' operty: The North 276.0 feet, except the West 195.0 feet thereof, of that part of Lot 7 lying South of a line drawn from a point on the East line thereof, 486.0 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Lot 7 and running to a point on the West line thereof J 501.11 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 7, in Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the East 854.70 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Townshi.p 41 North, Range 11 East of the Srd Principal Meridian lying south of the center line of Golf Road, Cook County, Illinois; also The West 195.0 feet, as measured at rig-ht angles to the West line thereof, of that part of Lot 7 lying North of a line drawn from a point on the East line thereof, 210.0 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Lot 7 and running to a point on the West line thereof. 225.11 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 7, in Juhnke's Subdivision of that pa:d of the East 854.70 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14. Town- ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian lying South of the center line of Golf Road, Cook County, Illinois; also .. .~ ~ ~n -' ,<;. -, ..! '" That part of Lot 7, except the Eas,t 173.0 feet, as measured at right angles to the East line thereof, 'which lies South of a line drawn from a point on the East line thereof. 210.0 feet North of the South- east corner of said Lot 7 and running to a point on th~ West line thereof, 225.11 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 7, in Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the East 854.70 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian lying South of the Center line of Golf Road, Cook County, illinois. SECTION TWO: That Map 26-8 contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410, passed and approved March 20, 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE above. SECTION THREE: That this OrdinaIlce shall be null and void and of no force and effect wliatsOevertintil after its passage, approval, publication, and such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the said parcel described in SECTION ONE hereinabove is registered with the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois; a copy of which plat of resubdivision shall be attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
