AN ORDINANCE AMENDING lV'iAP 23-N OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT

WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of 1'I'!ount Prospect did conduct
a p11blic hearing under Case No. 81-Z-78, on the 21st day of Deeernber, 1978, on
a request for a zoning classification change from B.-I (Single Family Residence)
District to B-.2 (Business-Financial Offices) District of certain property herein--
after described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEH.EAS. the Zoni.ng Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom-
mended to the President and BOl!rd of T.. rustees of the Village of :Mount Prospect
that the petitioner's request under said Case No . 87"-Z-78 be granted; and
WHEREAS. the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the app'roval
thereof to the President and Board of Trustees of theVillqge of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of l\!ount Prospect
have determined that the be~~ int~rests o~ t,h.? YUl,age of Mount Prospect will be
attnined by the adoption of the following Ordinances regarding- the subject pro--
perty;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGIi: QF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

PrOBpect. as amended. be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassify-'
ing- from R-l (Single Family Residence) District to B-2 (Busim'lss-Fincmdal
Offices) District the following described property;
The West 1/2 of the following described property: The South 332, feet as
measured along the West line thereof of that part of the East 1/2 of the SIV
1/4 of Section 27. Township 42 North. Range 11, E of the Third Principal
Meridian. lying' West of a line 200 feet West of fmd parallel with a line
drawn from a point on the South line of said SW 1/4 '{58 .61 feet East of the
Southwest cornp'.gf the ~)/2 of said SW 1/4 and forming an angle of 90
degrees 40 minutes 40 seconds as measured from West to North with the
South Line of the SW 1/4 in Cook County. Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 23-N contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No.
2410, passed and approved March 20. 1973, shall be del~med amended so as t.o
conforn~l with tll~ pe91fls~ifisationof the subject property herein contfl.ined in
SECTION ONE above.
SECTION THREE: That th,isO:r:,9m~,B?~~l.1all be null a1J-d void and of no foret'
and effect\vhHtsoever until after its passage. approvaC pift>lication, and such
time as an accurate plat resubdividing the said parcel described in SECTION
