ORDINANCE. NO . _2873
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CERTAIN VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAS'.r
CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF
ELMHURST AVENUE AND KENSINGTON ROAD

WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospeet did meet
on the 21st day of December, i978, at the hour of 8: (lOp.m., at the Mount Prospect
Public Safety Building, and did hear Case No. 88- V -78, pursuant to proper legal
llOtice; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did hear
this request for certain variations from the Mount Prospect Zoning' Ordinance; and

, WHEREAS;; the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom-
mend to the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of 1'\1ount
Prospect the approval of this request under Case No. 88-V -78; and
WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval thereof
I to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
I WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospact
I have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the
best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IN ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the property being the subject matter of Case No. 88-V-78
being legally described as follows:
Being 2. Subdivision of part of the 'East half of the
Southwest qU8rter of Section 27, Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of II,~otlnt Prospect
as B-2 (Business-Office District), which zoning classification shall remain in
effeet subject to the variations granted herein:
(a) That the rear yards opposite Elmhurst Avenue and Kensington
Road may be used for required off-street parking;
(b) 'That the required truck loading doclr.: be eliminated so long as
the use of the subject property is limited to professional and
business offices; and
(c) That the required automobile parking spaces may be reduced
from 10' x 20' to 9' x 20' in size;
provided, however, that there shall be no ingress to or egress from the
subject property from Elmhurst Avenue; and, further, that the building shan be
constructed in accordance with the arcl1!tecture a!ld conta!!1:s no 9ther:>igns
other than those ShO'lNn on the Elevation attached hereto and hereby made a
part hereof as Exhibit A .
