ORDINANCE NO. 2874
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 37-S OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF lVIQUNTl'R.Q$:pEQT
WHEREAS J the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduc
a public hearing under Case No. 4-Z-79 J on the 25th day of January, 1979, on a
request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residence)
District to R-l (Single Family Residence) District of certain property hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS J a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom-
mended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
that the petitioner's request under said Case No. 4-Z-79 be granted; and
WHEREAS J the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect win be
attajned by the adoption of the following Ordinance regarding the subject pro-
perty;
NOW, THEREFORE J BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEE'
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT J COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 37-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended J be and the same is hereby furhter amended by reclassifying
from R-X (Single Family Residence) District to R-1 (Single Family Residence)
District the following described property:

AU of Lots 50, 51, 52, 53 J 54, 55, 56 and 57 in Lake Briarwood Unit
Number Two a subdivision of part of the West half of the East half of
Section 22 J Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridiariin Cook County, Illinois together with all that part of the
dedicated public street known as BriarwoodDrive West which lies
Northwesterly of a line drawn from the Northeasterly COl'11er of Lot 50
to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 42 in Lake Briarwood Unit Number
Two aforesaid and which lies Southeasterly of a line described as
being the Northwesterly line of Lot 57 aforesaid e>...'tended Northeasterly
to the Northeasterly line of Briarwood Drive West aforesaid all in Cook
County, Illinois;

east quarter of Section 22 aforesaid to the place of beginning being the

all in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That Map 37-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410 J
passed and approved March 20 J 1973 J shall be deemed amended so as to conform
with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE
above.
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
