AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CBRTAIN VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
11 SOUTH EMi~RSONSTRÊET

WHER.&'\S t the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
t.1eet on the 22nd day of February t 1.979, at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. , e.! the Public
Safety Building, 112 East Northwest Highway, and did hear Case No. 6-V'-79,
pursuant to proper legal notice; and
WHEREAS t the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Pl"OSpect did
hear this request to permit 9' x 20' parking spaces UP!)!! the subject prope:ì."ty
instead of 10' x 20' spaces 8.S required under the Mount Prospect Zoning Ol'ctl-
nance; and .
WHEREAS t the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did
recommend to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount P:ros-
pact the approval of this request under Case No. 6-V-79; and
WHEREAS t the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect has reviewed tha matter herein and has recommended apprav21
thereof to the President 8.nd Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount prospec:t
have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best
interests of the Village of Mount Prospect¡
NOW I THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOAHD OF TR.UST.~ ES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT J COOK COUNTY I ILLINOIS:
SECTlPN ONE: That the property being the subject matter of CREJ€ No. 6-V-79
being legallYdescribed as follews:
I.ot 16 and the South half (1/2) of Lot 17 in Block five (5) in
Busse and Wille's Resubdivision in Mount Prospe()t in the West
half (1/2) of Section 12 t Township 41 North t Range 11, East of
~he Third Principal Meridian;
is currently zoned under' the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect
as P-l (Off street Parldng Distrlct) , which zoning classIfication shall remaIn
in effect subject to the variation granted herein:
That parking spaces may be X'fJduced to 9' x 20' in size
upon the subject property.
SECTION TWO: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Bu.ilcUng' and
Zon-ing Code shall be applicable except the variations noted in SECTION ONE
heretofore m.entioned.
SECTION THREE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village oî
Mount Prospect is hereby authorized to issue a blinding permit for construction
of an off-street parking lot in accordance with the variations hereinbefm:'e
mentioned. . .
SECTION FOUR: That the variations granted by this Ordinance shall be null
and void and of no'force and effect whåtsoevsr unless a1'1 application fer a
building permit pursuant to such variation is made and construction commenced

SECTION FIVE: That this OrdinanGe shall be in full force and effect from and
after its pass"ãge, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
