HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2883 04/04/1979 r 3/15/7Y ~. , ' ORDINANCE NO. 2883 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 37"'S OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT l WHEREAS. the Zonmg Board w Appeals of theVìIlage of Mount ProsPéct did condUl" a public hearing under Case No. 2-Z-79. on the 25th day óf January, 1979, on a request for à zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Residence , District) toR-4 (Residential Development District) of certain property hereinafter described; and I WHEREAS. a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made and published in the manner provided by law; and I I I ! WHEREAS, the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount ,I Prospect h~s reviewell the matter herein and h~s recommended the àpproval thereo to the PresIdent and Board of Trustees of the VIllage of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS. the President and Board of Truste~s of the Vil~age of Mount prosp~ct I have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be I attained by the adoption of the following Ordinances regarding the subj~ct propert~; , I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF I TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ,COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recom mended to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the petitioner's request under said Case No. 2-Z-79 be granted; and SECTION ONE: That Map 37-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, às amended. be and the same is hereby further amended by reclassify- ing from R-X (Single Family Residence District)' toR-4 (Residential Development District) the following described property: That part of Lot 16 lying North of a line drawn at right angles to the East line of said Lot 16, through a point on said East line 83 . 0 feet South of the N . E. corner thereof, all in Lake Briarwood. a Subdivision of part of the West 1/2 of the East 1/2 of Sec. 22-T. 41 N . -R. 11 E. of the 3rd. P.M.. in Cook County. Illinois., SECTION TWO:, That Map 37-S contained in SECTION ONE of Ordinance No. 2410 passed and approved March 20. 1973, shall be deemed amended so as to conform with the reclassification of the subject property herein contained in SECTION ONE above. SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever until after its passage, approval, publication. and such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the said parcel described in SECTION ONE hcrein- I above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County.
