ORDINANCE NO. 2891
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CERTAIN VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH AND WEST OF
THE SOUTHERN CUL-DE-SAC OF CARBOY ROAD
WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet
on the 22nd day of February. 1979 f at the hour of 8: 00 p.m. f at the Mount P~ospeci
Public Safety Building. and did hear Case No. 9-V-79. pursllant to proper legal
notice; and
WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect d!d hear
this request for certain variations from the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance;
and

WHEREAS. the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect did recom
mend to the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect the approval of this request under Case No. 9-V-79; and
WHEREAS. the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect has reviewed the matter herein and has recommended the approval there
of to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is in the best
int~rests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTE :
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the property being the subject matter of Case No. 9-V-79

in the S,?utheast 1/4 of Section 23. Township 41 North. Range,
11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian as per the plat thereof recQrded
February 20. 1968. as Document No. 20409121. taken as a tract. which
lies West of the East line of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of f?aid
Section 23. together with aU,that part of Carboy Road lying East of and
adjoining said lots and lying South of a radial line of said street drawn
from where the East line of the West 1/2 of said Southeast 1/4 intersects
the Northwesterly line 9f said Carboy Road. Cook County. Illinois;

is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect
as 1-1 (Light Industrial) District. which zoning classification shall remain in
effect subject to the variations granted herein:
A . That, all land development and construction and original occupancy
of improvements on the Subject Territory and the real estate
described hereinabove shall be in accordance with the zoning,
building and life safety code and other applicable laws and ordi-
nances of Cook County. in effect as of date of issuance -of County
BUilding-permitS; -
B. That the remainder of said laws and ordinances of Cook County shall
be applied, inCluding but not limited to: off-street parking and
loading; side, rear and f~pnt yards; permitted uses; outside storage

of trucks; trailers and other equipment and materials; intensity of
use; lot size; maximum lot coverage by buildings and parking; sign
and fence regulations; allowance of parking within yards; and per-
formance standards--provided that neither main building to be con-
structed will exceed 112,000 square feet in gross floor area and each
will be construç!~(ts}lbêtl:lntially in conformance to the building
plans prepared by Babbin Associates, Inc . and Albert R. Belrose
& Associates, Ltd.. dated , Project Number -
C. That the buildings may have insulated aluminum exterior wall
panels and will be substantially as shown in the photograph
attached hereto and hereby made as part hereof as Exhibit B.
SECTION TWO: That all requirements of the Mount Prospect Building and Zoning!
Codes shall be applicable except the variations noted in SECTION ONE heretofore
described.

I SECTION THREE: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of
I Mount Prospect is hereby directed to issue a building permit _in accordance with

\ SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and
