AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED
VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY AT
1000 W. CENTRAL ROAD
WHEPEAS, TRADE SERVICE PUBLICATIONS, INC., a corporation,
(which shall be referred to hereinafter as "petitioner") is the
owner of a parcel of property located at 1000 W. Central Road in
the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, State of Illinois
(hereinafter referred to as the "Subject Property"): and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is legally described as
follows:
Trade Service Publications Subdivision
of that part of the East 1/2 of the
Southeast 1/4 (except the East 710 feet
thereof) of Section 33, Township 42
North, Range 11, East'of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying South of the
right-of-way of the Chicago and North-
western Railway;
and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is located in the I-I Light
Industrial District under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Mount Prospect (hereinafter referred to as
thE:: "Zoning O:cdinance"); and
WHEREAS, Petitioner has heretofore filed an application
seeking th¿ following variation~ from the provisions of the
Zoning Ordinance:

A fifteen (15) foot variation from the provisions of

A variation from the provisions of Sections 14.2602
BI6 and B3l of Article XXVI of the Zoning Ordinance to permit
parking in the front yard of the Subject Property;
3.
A variation from the provisions of Section 14.2205
Blc to reduce the required number of truck loading spaces for
the Subject Property from three (3) to two (2);
4.
A variation from the provisions of Section 14.2205 Al
requiring one (1) parking space for each two hundred (200) square
feet of gross floor area to allow one (1) parking space for each
three hundred (300) square feet of gross floor area devoted to
office space, one (l) parking space for each one thousand (1,000) square feet 0

gross floor area devoted to prcductiori and one (1) parking space for each 20,00
square feet of gross floor area devoted to warehouse use or eighty-fou
(84) parking spaces, whichever is greater; and
. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the Petitioner's
reqUest for the aforesaid variaUon~, which request is known as
ZBA-21-V-79, before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Vi~lage
Ff Mount Prospeçt on May 3, 1979, pursuant to proper publlc

WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to
he Building Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
f Mount Prospect that Petitioner's request for the aforesaid
ariation, ZBA-21-V-79 ~e granted; and
WrIEREAS,the President and Board of Trustees have
onsidered the Petitioner's request and reviewed the recommenda-

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board

SECTION ONE:
The recitals set forth hereinabove are
!incorporated herein as though fully set forth.
SECTION TWO:
Subject to Petitioner's compliance with the
