A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PERMISSION TO CLOSE
l A PORTION OF A STATE ROAD TO CONDUCT A PARADE
II HERFAS. the ViJlage of Mount Prospect desires to hold the lndependance Day ,
¡ Parade on a portion of Central Road on July 4, 1980; and
¡~HEREAS, said parade will require closing that portion of Central Road
retween Main Street (Route 83) and Busse Road; and
~THEREAS, the State of Illinois requires that the Village assume all
¡responsibility and liability lnvolved in the closing of said State Road. ,

I SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect will assume full
: responsibility for the direction, protection and regulation of traffic during
lithe time the detour is in effect, and 811 liabilities for damages of any kind
¡ ocassioned by the closing of said State Route.

I SECTION TWO: That the Vi:lag~ of Mount :rospect will provide. f~r .efficient,
,Iall weather detours to be mam.tamegconsplcuously marked and JUdICIously
IFolice patrolled forthe benefit or traffic deviated from the State Route.
¡¡SECTION THREE: That a map indicating the detour route is attached hereto
¡¡¡and hereby made a part hereof.
:SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
