Family Bike Ride
*August 17th; 69 Attendees
*Incorrect date provided by media (date) — Howard was advised that the date he sent out was
incorrect.
*Suggestion made to move the event to a later date in September, as the weekend before school
starting is very busy for families. Baseball is starting earlier, so we suggest starting the weekend
after Labor Day.
*Suggestion: Hot dog cart — advertise lunch to first _#_ pre-registrants. (OR, breakfast with a
Breakfast food truck).
*Course arrowing issues: next year give Public Works the arrows to put out while they block off
areas. (Follow right hand turns).
ChristkindleMarket
*Day Before Thanksgiving
*SEC Log add to vendor sign up sheet
*Vendor Setup at 3 p.m., event from 4-7 p.m., tree lighting at 5 p.m.
Gala Dinner
Reports given on location visits:
- Crystal Palace —Told us outright they cannot accommodate us
- Cotillion Banquets — Has the space to accommodate us along with full dance floor and a
10 piece band, as well as the two screens now included in the ceremony.
- Bristol — Safety violations seen on visit; wouldn't let them see the kitchen; not allowed to
remove drapes on stairway; would price it at whatever we wanted and we could setup the
day before and remove items Monday.
- Victoria —Advised us that they could not accommodate us; washroom issues and there
would be not enough room for band and dance floor.
