Chairman Donnelly called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Commissioner Beattie made a motion seconded
by Commissioner Fitzgerald to approve of the minutes from the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting
on February 22, 2018. The minutes were approved 7-0. Chairman Donnelly introduced case, PZ -11-17 as
201 N. Westgate Road and stated the case is Village Board final.
Mr. Shallcross gave a brief description of Subject Property and explained the Petitioner is proposing to
create two lots of record out of one parcel. He further explained the project requires subdividing the Subject
Property, dedicating easements for public utilities and drainage, and demolishing the existing home.
Mr. Shallcross explained the proposed plat of subdivision creates two lots of record that meet the bulk
requirements of the R1 district. The zoning district for the Subject Property will remain RI Single Family
Residential.
Mr. Shallcross stated that Staff finds that the proposed subdivision is consistent with the Village
Comprehensive Plan and meets all applicable requirements of the Village Code. Based on these findings,
Staff recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission make a motion to adopt staff's findings as the
findings of the Planning and Zoning Commission and recommend approval of the following motion:
1. A plat of subdivision titled "Piekarska Subdivision", subject to the following conditions:

a. The existing home and driveway shall be demolished and removed within six (6) months
after recording of the plat, otherwise the plat shall be considered null and void.
The Village Board's decision is final.
Chairman Donnelly swore in Magdalena Piekarska 201 N. Westgate Road Mount Prospect, Illinois.
Ms. Piekarska stated she wants to divide the lot and build a single family house.
Hearing no additional comments from the board or the public, Chairman Donnelly closed the hearing and
asked for a motion.
Commissioner Beattie made a motion seconded by Commissioner Griffin to approve the following motion:
1. A plat of subdivision titled "Piekarska Subdivision", subject to the following conditions:
a. The existing home and driveway shall be demolished and removed within six (6) months
after recording of the plat, otherwise the plat shall be considered null and void.
UPON ROLL CALL AYES: Fitzgerald, Beattie, Mizwicki, Filippopne, Szymczak, Griffin, Donnelly
NAYS: None
The vote was approved 7-0 with a positive recommendation to the Village Board.
