AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR),
ARTICLE 11 (LICENSING FOR REGULATED SERVICE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS IN REGARD TO COMPLIMENTARY SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: Chapter 13, Article 11, Section 13.204(A)(3) of the Mount Prospect
Village Code is hereby amended by changing the name of a Class S-6 license from
"Cosmetic facility license" to a "Complimentary service license."
SECTION 2: Chapter 13, Article 11, Section 13.204.1(C)(6) of the Mount Prospect
Village Code is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows:

SECTION 3: Chapter 13, Article ll, Section 13.101 of the Mount Prospect Village
Code is amended only as to the definition of "Cosmetic Facility", said definition to read in
its entirety as follows:
"COSMETIC FACILITY: A business at which a person receives cosmetic services
from a State licensed professional, such as a barber,_.a nail technician or
cosmetologist; cosmetic facility shall not include business establishments where

section 11.3901 of this Code.,,
SECTION 4: That Appendix A, Division II of the Mount Prospect Village Code is
hereby amended by renaming the Class S-6 "Cosmetic Facility License" to
"Complimentary Service License," and changing the one time application fee for a Class
S-6 license to $50.00 and the annual Class S-6 License fee to $250.00.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
