A. ZBA 69-SU-89, 1716 Freedom Court
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1716 FREEDOM COURT
This Ordinance grants a Special Use to permit a
3-car garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended denying the request by a vote of 3-2. (Exhibit A)
B. ZBA 59-V-89, 1512 Larch Drive
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1512 LARCH DRIVE
This Ordinance grants a variation to permit an
above-ground swimming pool 6 feet from an interior
lot line instead of the required 10 feet and 5
feet from the rear lot line instead of the
required 15 feet. (Exhibit B)

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A
SPECIAL USE IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED
UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 740 EAST RAND ROAD
This Ordinance grants a Special Use in the
nature of a Planned Unit Development. (Exhibit C)
D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I
OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance establishes regulations governing
downspouts. (Exhibit D)
E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XV
OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance amends the Property Maintenance
Code relative to gutters and downspouts. (Exhibit E)
NEW BUSINESS
A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ~HENDING A~TICLE XII
OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance amends the Fair Housing regulations
to include specific language as required by law. Exhibit F)
B. ZBA 83-V-89, 805 S. Elmhurst Road
The Petitioner is requesting variations to allow a
circular driveway and to permit impervious coverage
of 52% rather than the 35%. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote
~f 6-0.
C. ZBA 85-SU-89, 1731 W. Pheasant Trail
Petitioner is requesting a Special Use in order
to operate a day care home. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by
a vote of 6-0.
D. ZBA 86-SU-89, 1201 North Ardyce Lane
The Petitioner is requesting a Special Use in order
to allow a family care home to house 6 individuals
instead of 5 as permitted. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by
a vote of 6-0.
E. ZBA 66-SU-89 and ZBA 67-V-89, 1500 S. Elmhurst Road
The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to the
Planned Unit Development for the Venture Property
to permit 2 outlots to house 2 drive-thru, fast-
food restaurants; a 20,000 square foot addition
to the existing Venture building; and, variations
to allow a 20 foot parking lot setback instead of
the required 30 feet along Elmhurst & Dempster
Roads and a zero foot parking lot setback instead of
the required 20 feet on the west and north property
lines. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
approving these requests.
F. Request for modification from the Development Code -
1500 South Elmhurst Road
In conjunction with the preceding requests from
the Zoning Ordinance, the Petitioner is requesting
a modification from the Development Code (Chapter 16)
to waive the required street lights and parkway trees.
The Plan Commission recommended denying these requests.
G. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT TO PERFORM SPECIFIED CONSTRUCTION WITHIN
STATE RIGHTS-OF-WAY IN LIEU OF A SURETY BOND (Exhibit G)
H. Mann's Plat of Subdivision, Maple & Sha Bonee
This subdivision creates 2 lots of record.
The Plan Commission recommends approving
this subdivision.
