OLD BUSINESS - Rand Road Corridor Traffic Conditions
Mr. Fritz reviews the last meeting and discussion proceeds on trouble-
some intersections along the Rand Road Corridor: Mount Prospect Road -
Central -Rand; Elmhurst Road -Kensington -Rand. These locations are re-
peatedly the scenes of traffic accidents according to recent statistics.
Traffic is with us in acceleration . . . both speed and scope. Any
deviation made to one intersection will alter the surrounding traffic
patterns. Mr. Velasco said we must be sure that any changes will truly
be improvements and must be studied hard and long for any ramifications.
In our eagerness to continue this Corridor it was discovered that several
members were not available for our next scheduled meeting of January 17.
There was concurrance to move that meeting to January 24, 1996 at 7:3,0 PM
at the Senior Center and make it a Public Information meeting.
Thanks was extended to all in attendance and there being no further
business the meeting was adjourned at 9:40 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
0.1
